Our commitment

The City Municipality of Velenje strives to make all its web content — including this open data portal — accessible to as many users as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing process and aim to align content and technology with WCAG guidelines and universal design principles where feasible.

What we do

• use clear page structure and readable fonts,
• aim for sufficient contrast between text and background,
• support keyboard navigation where possible,
• consider accessibility when publishing new content and links,
• review user feedback regularly.

Because the portal includes data tables, filters and links to external resources (e.g. CSV downloads, map services), some features may require user-side adjustments (browser zoom, screen readers).

Physical accessibility

Beyond digital services, the municipality also works on accessibility of physical spaces and public services. More on projects and services at velenje.si.

If you encounter a barrier when using the portal (e.g. unreadable text, keyboard issues, unclear links), please let us know. We will try to fix content or functionality within a reasonable time.
